Digitalization of sales by integrating video consulting

An international financial services provider digitized its sales force by integrating bookingtime and video consultations via Microsoft Teams, streamlining operations and saving resources. Customers and consultants benefit from an automated and efficient booking process.
 

Challenge:

A large international financial services provider wants to digitize its sales. The advisory appointments take place either in person at the financial service provider’s locations or at the customer’s premises. For more efficient sales, the service provider relies on digital advice, which means as little effort as possible for the advisor.

Solution:

The appointment types will be expanded to include a new consultation. In future, customers will be able to book a video consultation. To this end, bookingtime is integrating the Microsoft Graph API links to Microsoft Teams into the appointment confirmation emails. Customers book a suitable day and time and automatically receive the URL to the video consultation after successfully booking an appointment. At the same time, a Microsoft Outlook event with customer data and MS Teams URL is generated for the booked consultant.

Result:

In future, advisors will be able to hold digital consultations and will not have to worry about making appointments or sending the link to the video consultation. The solution is constantly being expanded and is used by hundreds of consultants every day. Operational processes have been significantly streamlined, valuable time has been saved and resources have been conserved.
